This family puppet show will be on in the main hall of Sallins National School

A bilingual puppet show, Viking Story Teller Mary Mary delights children aged 6-10 years and their families with tales of the Viking Gods and myths, illustrated by shadow puppetry. Afterwards the children will have a chance to respond creatively to her stories; or to draw or write their own favourite tale.

The young and not so young are sure to enjoy the fun!

We’ll have our popular story-telling workshop in Café Grange again this year,  with super stories for the little people (suitable for children that are 8 yrs old or younger)

We’ll also be welcoming back our friends from Barker & Jones to the caifé on the day , with their pop-up shop and collection of children’s and Irish cultural/Irish language interest books.

Author of Bí ag Spraoi Liom! and Beag Bídeach (Futa Fata), Sadhbh Devlin, will read and discuss creativity and composition with the children. You will also have the chance to try your own crafts and craftsmanship!
